We had some very good friends of ours come over for a little Christmas get together. Tommy, Robin and Manze Ball, Steve and Ladonna Whitney, Doug, Whitney, and Avery Hurd. We had a great time visiting with each other, and after dinner we all played rock band. We laughed so hard at the men playing, they were taking it so serious and were really getting in to it. Manze and Avery also had a great time singing and dancing.

Getting Ready for the Holidays
My brother Calvin, his wife Stephanie, and my nephew Carter came up for a visit this weekend. We went to Canton and saw the Christmas lights, and Carter got to see Santa. He did so good when he saw Santa. He told him that he wanted a helmet and candy corn. We ate out all weekend and got some Christmas shopping in. We all had the best time with Carter, he was so sweet and loving. We gave Carter "Elf on the Shelf" and I read the book to him and tried to explain how the elf would be watching him and reporting to Santa everyday. He also picked out the spot where we would put our Christmas tree and helped his Uncle Jason put it up.

Thanksgiving 2008
We went to Jason's moms this year for Thanksgiving. She lives in Mountain View, AR, or as we like to call it "Mayberry". It was just me, Jason, Kaitlyn, and Caden on the trip and we had a good time. It was very cold, and on the day we left, they were predicting snow, so we got out of there as fast as we could. We did not want to get stuck there. We got some shopping in, visited the town, and went to Caroling in the Caverns. It was a very nice trip, and I think the most fun we had was traveling on the road. Our two kids are nuts.........we laughed at them the entire time. I love it when Jason and I get to spend quality time with the kids, they grow up so fast, and the older they get, the less time they have for us. So I take every moment with them that I can get. So all in all, it was a great Thanksgiving, and I am so thankful that it is over......I ate toooo much.

Mistletoe Marketplace 2008
Today, me, my friend Johnna and my mother-in-law, Jackie went to Mistletoe Marketplace. We did lots of shopping, and really got ourselves into the Christmas spirit. We just had a girl's day out of shopping and fun. It was so nice and relaxing. The highlight of our day was when we got to meet Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) from Days of Our Lives. She has her own jewelry line, that is absolutely beautiful. I got a couple of pieces of it for myself. She was just as gorgeous in person as she is on the show, and was just as sweet as could be. Johnna was a little overwhelmed with meeting her, and Jackie and I had a great time laughing at her, and I have to say, she keep us laughing all day.......

Aunt TT's Little Biker Man
I got to see Carter this weekend. He is really into motorcyles now, and he got one for his birthday. He rides it all the time, and he was even a biker for Halloween. I did not get to see him at Halloween, but while I was there this weekend I did get a picture of him on it. He goes everywhere on it, and is not afraid to go fast at all.

Kaitlyn's Sweet Sixteen
I know that it is hard to believe that our baby girl is "Sweet Sixteen". She turned sixteen on August 4, and we took a beach trip with friends. We laid in the sun and ate some really good seafood. We had a great time celebrating Kaitlyn's birthday, I just want the birthday's to slow down, they grow up to fast.
My 29 + 8 Birthday
USM/Boise St.
We went to the USM/Boise game, and even though we did not win, we had a great time. We ran into our friends Lee and Aleza Boyette with their son Anthony, and Aaron Walker. It was so good to see them, and we enjoyed our visit with them. The Boyettes will be adding another baby boy to their family in December. I could not believe how much Anthony had grown, and so cute and smart. He is a real MawMaw's boy, so I could not resist a picture of me and Anthony to send to her.
Aunt TT's Little CarCar
I have to tell you all about my nephew Carter. He is the cutest thing ever. He is two years old, and is getting so big. I love to talk to him on the phone, or at least try, but he is always to busy playing to talk to his Aunt TT. And, if he is talking, he is always asking for Jason or Caden. I like to think that he loves his Aunt TT more than anything, but I think he loves his Uncle Jason more.
Walt Disney World 2008
We went to Walt Disney World in September, and had the best time ever. Of course, you always have fun at the Happiest Place on Earth, but I think every year that it just gets better and better. We went with family and friends that made it just that more special. Our friends Keith and Tracy Lofton with their boys Hunter and Bryce. And, my brother Jared. We all rode just about every ride there, and can't wait to go back.
